Housing and Support
Finding a place to live and the right support can be hard to do.
Valuing People and Valuing People Now wants people with learning disabilities to have more choice about where they live and who they live with.
People with learning disabilities and their families need;
-
-
Information about housing
-
help to know how to get the money and
-
support to make it all happen

Valuing People Now says that more than half of people with learning disabilities live with their families and most live in residential care. It can be hard to get clear information about the different options.
Valuing People Now has worked together with Housing Options and have now updated and written 21 new resources on different housing options for people with learning disabilities and their families
